New Door Hardware. It really makes a difference when you replace doorknobs,
hinges, strike plates and doorstops. The first thing I see when I work on
homes and rental properties is the door hardware. New hinges are
less than $2 a piece on Amazon. It really makes a difference without
hurting your budget. If you buy doorknobs, be sure they sell passageway,
privacy, one-sided dummy knobs and matching key entry. It's hard to
find knobs that offer all four. They come in numerous finishes including
chrome, nickel, brass, polished brass, antique brass, gold, black and brushed.
